FISHER, Wayne Daniel
The funeral for Wayne Daniel Fisher was held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel to St. John’s United Church, Mount Stewart where the service was conducted by The Reverend T. Kevin Dingwell and The Reverend Gary Clark. The scriptures were read by sister-in-law Rhonda Fisher and sister Karen Holland. The St. John’s United Church Choir and Friends led in the singing of the congregational hymns “In the Garden” and “How Great Thou Art”. The prelude “Amazing Grace” was sung by Cam MacMaster, Bernely Shepard and Jason MacIsaac. Soloist Darren MacEachern sang “There is a River” and “In the Quiet Curve of Evening”. The postlude “Hector, the Hero” was played by fiddler Allan MacDonald and guitarist Bonnie Campbell. Organist was Shelly Morrison. In attendance were staff of the community of Mount Stewart and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The Mount Stewart Fire Department formed an honour guard. All in attendance served as honourary pallbearers. Urnbearers were sons Nigel and Kaelin Fisher. Flowerbearers were nieces and nephews. Interment took place in Mount Stewart Peoples Cemetery.
