1922-2015 Peace­fully at the Prince County Hos­pi­tal, Sum­mer­side, on Tues­day, July 28,2015 of Regi­nald Arthur Eldershaw of Tig­nish, P.E.I. in his 94th year. Vet­eran of the Sec­ond World War. Beloved hus­band of Edith Vera (nee MacLeod) Eldershaw who pre­de­ceased him on Sept.26, 2005. Born at Mor­rell, P.E.I. on Jan­uary 20,1922 he was the son of the late Arthur and Mathilda (nee Mackay) Eldershaw of Mor­rell. Left to morn his pass­ing are his four chil­dren, Karen( Jack)Lit­tle of Tig­nish; Rena (Earl)Matthews of Elms­dale; Midge (Leith) Mur­ray of Kens­ing­ton; Bill (Geraldine) Eldershaw of Hardy Road. Lov­ing grand­fa­ther to Tara and John Lit­tle, Court­ney, Jeff and Jenna Matthews, Dana (Say­ers), Sarah and Leah (March­banks) Mur­ray, Natalie and Fran Eldershaw. Great-grand­fa­ther to Mag­gie Bryan, Isla, Justin, Trevor, Logan and Henry. He is also sur­vived by his many nieces and neph­ews. He is also sur­vived by his sis­ter, Mar­garet (Late Frank) McKin­non of Mor­rell, brother-in-law, Roy (Late Peggy) McLeod of Tig­nish, sis­ter-in-law, Danielle (Late Ch­ester) McLeod of Florida. He was also pre­de­ceased by his sib­lings, Wil­fred, Ce­cil, Harry, James, Charles, Bill, Ralph, Mary (late Roy) For­est. Rest­ing at the Rooney Fu­neral Home, Al­ber­ton, from where the fu­neral will be held on Fri­day morn­ing at 11 a.m. Rev. Lynn McKin­non of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment to fol­low in the Tig­nish United Church Ceme­tery. Vis­it­ing hours Thurs­day 6 to 9 p.m. The Tig­nish Branch #6 of the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion will hold a trib­ute ser­vice at the Fu­neral Home Thurs­day evening at 5:45 p.m. As an ex­pres­sion of sym­pa­thy, me­mo­ri­als to the Tig­nish Fire Dept. or to the Tig­nish Se­niors Coop Home, would be grate­fully ap­pre­ci­ated. www.rooneyfh.ca
