Eddy Quinn guest in Brack­ley

Al­most half­way through the sea­son, the Brack­ley Beach Fid­dle & Song con­cert se­ries hosted by Jon Matthews and Sheila MacKen­zie will be host­ing pop­u­lar P.E.I. singer/song­writer Eddy Quinn to their air-con­di­tioned stage at the Brack­ley Beach Com­mu­nity Cen­tre to­day at 7:30 p.m.

Best known as the lead singer of Fid­dlers’ Sons, Quinn’s orig­i­nal mu­sic tells sto­ries of the Is­land way of life and the peo­ple who make P.E.I. spe­cial.

This sum­mer he re­leased his first book ti­tled “Is­land Char­ac­ters”, which fea­tures short sto­ries about some of the Is­land’s most colour­ful peo­ple.

The Brack­ley Beach Com­mu­nity Cen­tre is lo­cated at 3330 Brack­ley Point Rd., Route 15 ap­prox­i­mately 20 min­utes out­side of Char­lot­te­town.

All ages are wel­come with ad­mis­sion by cash only at the door.

The con­cert se­ries runs ev­ery Wed­nes­day un­til Sept. 2.
