1 Wayne Thibodeau grew up in Miminegash, a small fishing community in western Prince Edward Island. He now calls Charlottetown home.
2 While in high school, Wayne began reporting for the Summerside Journal-Pioneer, a TC Media newspaper.
3 His first, full-time job in journalism was at the West Prince Graphic in Alberton, where he served as reporter, photographer, and later editor. He would also sell subscriptions and occasionally clean the bathroom.
4 Wayne was one of the first journalists in the country to file for multiple platforms – reporting for The Guardian, Global Maritimes, and Canada.com.
