Singing at the Kaylee Hall

The Amanda Jack­son Band will be the spe­cial guests at the Close to the Ground con­cert se­ries be­ing held in the Kaylee Hall in Poole’s Cor­ner. They will join hosts Fid­dlers’ Sons for a night of mu­sic.

Fid­dlers’ Sons will host another pop­u­lar lo­cal group, the Amanda Jack­son Band, at its Close to the Ground con­cert se­ries to­day at 8 p.m. at the air­con­di­tioned Kaylee Hall in Pooles Cor­ner.

The group cre­ates a cap­ti­vat­ing blend of orig­i­nal and con­tem­po­rary folk and blues mu­sic that have earned them a loyal fol­low­ing. Jack­son, who grew up in For­tune Bridge, be­gan singing for her fam­ily and friends when she was only two. At 14, she bought her first BB King cas­sette and she has been hooked on the blues ever since. She is ac­com­pa­nied by Todd Ma­cLean, Dale McKie, Der­ryl Gal­land and Reg­gie Bal­lagh.

The Kaylee Hall is lo­cated at the in­ter­sec­tion of routes 3 and 4 in Pooles Cor­ner, just out­side of Mon­tague. There will be a 50/50 draw and can­teen ser­vice avail­able.

Ad­mis­sion is by cash only at the door which opens at 7 p.m. All ages are welcome.
