Singing at the Kaylee Hall
The Amanda Jackson Band will be the special guests at the Close to the Ground concert series being held in the Kaylee Hall in Poole’s Corner. They will join hosts Fiddlers’ Sons for a night of music.
Fiddlers’ Sons will host another popular local group, the Amanda Jackson Band, at its Close to the Ground concert series today at 8 p.m. at the airconditioned Kaylee Hall in Pooles Corner.
The group creates a captivating blend of original and contemporary folk and blues music that have earned them a loyal following. Jackson, who grew up in Fortune Bridge, began singing for her family and friends when she was only two. At 14, she bought her first BB King cassette and she has been hooked on the blues ever since. She is accompanied by Todd MacLean, Dale McKie, Derryl Galland and Reggie Ballagh.
The Kaylee Hall is located at the intersection of routes 3 and 4 in Pooles Corner, just outside of Montague. There will be a 50/50 draw and canteen service available.
Admission is by cash only at the door which opens at 7 p.m. All ages are welcome.
