Po­lice search for 17 year old boater

BURNS LAKE, B.C. — Po­lice are search­ing for a 17-yearold male af­ter his empty boat was found near Burns Lake, B.C. RCMP spokesman Cpl. Dave Tyre­man says po­lice re­ceived re­ports of the over­due boater around 9 p.m. Tues­day, about eight hours af­ter Bryce Gray was last spot­ted. Gray’s boat was found empty on the shore of Tch­esinkut Lake early Wed­nes­day morn­ing, and the boat mo­tor was miss­ing. RCMP and Burns Lake Search and Res­cue are among the groups scour­ing the lake and sur­round­ing area look­ing for any trace of the miss­ing teen. Po­lice air­craft and dog teams have also joined com­mu­nity vol­un­teers in the search for Gray.
