For most in­mates, if they haven’t al­ready been granted pa­role they are au­to­mat­i­cally re­leased af­ter serv­ing twothirds of their sen­tence. Con­di­tions can be im­posed or the in­mate can be de­nied re­lease un­der cer­tain cir­cum­stances.
