The fu­neral for Howard Woodard was held on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 16, 2015, at the Moase Fu­neral Home, Summerside, where the fu­neral ser­vice was con­ducted at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Dr. An­drew Richard­son. The pro­ces­sional hymn was a taped se­lec­tion of How Great Thou Art. The re­ces­sional was a taped se­lec­tion of Amaz­ing Grace. Prior to the fu­neral ser­vice, mem­bers of the Summerside branch of the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion held a ser­vice of re­mem­brance at the fu­neral home, con­ducted by Austin McLel­lan. Sergeant-atarms was Irv­ing Arse­nault. Flag­bear­ers were Dolphe Maze­rolle and Richard Savi­dant. Last Post and Reveille were sounded by Paul Gal­lant. In­ter­ment took place in Peo­ples Ceme­tery, Summerside.
