The death occurred sud­denly and peace­fully at home on Thurs­day, De­cem­ber 31, 2015 of James A. “Farmer” Knockwood, of Char­lot­te­town, age 52 years. Lov­ing fa­ther of Dustin Gill. Son of the late An­thony and Ruthie (Howatt) Knockwood. Dear brother of Chris Knockwood (Kim), their daugh­ter Ella and son An­drew, Terry MacDonald (Trish) and their daugh­ter Genevieve, Tyler Knockwood (Laura), his son Isaac and daugh­ter Annabelle and Lisa Glover and her son M.J. Lov­ingly re­mem­bered by aunts and un­cles, Priscilla “Pat” MacDonald, Joe MacDonald, Pa­trick MacDonald, Joe (Mary) McKenna, He­len (Del­bert) Carr, Jessie (Neil) MacPhail, Heather (Wen­dell) MacDonald and nu­mer­ous cousins. He was also pre­de­ceased by his niece, Jil­lian Knockwood, and his aunts and un­cles, Grace Har­vey, Doreen Mathe­son, James “Jimmy” Howatt, Roseanne “Anne” MacDonald and Stella MacDonald. Rest­ing at the Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home un­til Wed­nes­day morn­ing then trans­ferred to St. Dun­stan’s Basil­ica for fu­neral mass at 10 a.m. In­ter­ment later in the Ro­man Catholic Ceme­tery, Char­lot­te­town.
