The fu­neral for Jen­nifer Lud­ding­ton of Char­lot­te­town was held on Mon­day, De­cem­ber 21, 2015 from Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home to St. Dun­stan’s Basil­ica where the fu­neral mass was cel­e­brated by Rev­erend Floyd Gal­lant who also de­liv­ered the homily. The first read­ing was pro­claimed by close friend, Mary O’Brien, and the sec­ond read­ing was pro­claimed by case­worker, Heidi Bernardi. The prayers of in­ter­ces­sion were of­fered by Paul Van­der­gaag. The fu­neral mass was sung by St. Dun­stan’s fu­neral choir un­der the di­rec­tion of or­gan­ist, Leo Marchildon. They ren­dered the open­ing hymn, As The Deer Longs, the of­fer­tory hymn, Shel­ter Me, O God, the com­mu­nion hymn, Be­hold The Lamb, and the re­ces­sional hymn, On Ea­gle’s Wings. The pall­bear­ers were Trem­ploy staff and clients. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were ev­ery­one in at­ten­dance. Among those at­tend­ing the fu­neral liturgy were rep­re­sen­ta­tives of Trem­ploy, res­i­dents of Life Bridges, and Curves Ladies. The in­ter­ment took place in the fam­ily plot at The Ro­man Catholic Ceme­tery, Char­lot­te­town.
