Mexico off list for places to visit

The mayor of Mexico City was slain a day after being inaugurated which followed the murder of Temuco Mayor Gisela Mota. Organized crime is blamed for the killings as a warning to other mayors or anyone who opposes the drug lords. Organized crime controls most of Mexico because of widespread corruption in the government, army, police and security forces who are on the drug lords’ payroll. This is why I would not take a vacation in Mexico no matter how safe they claim the highend vacation resorts are supposed to be.
