Drunk driver ar­rested be­fore noon

A St. Peters woman whose blood al­co­hol level was al­legedly al­most three times the le­gal limit was ar­rested just be­fore noon on Jan. 5 in Morell.

Kings Dis­trict RCMP re­ported ar­rest­ing the woman af­ter a check stop on Route 2 in Morell at about 11:50 a.m.

The 33-year-old driver was the only oc­cu­pant in the ve­hi­cle.

Breath­a­lyzer sam­ples al­legedly showed her blood al­co­hol level was al­most three times the le­gal limit. The woman was re­leased later in the day and is sched­uled to ap­pear in court in Ge­orge­town at a later date.
