The funeral for Patricia McCormack of Charlottetown was held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer where the funeral mass was celebrated by Reverend Isaac Chackalaparampil, who also delivered the homily. The first reading was proclaimed by granddaughter, Denine Hancock, and the second reading was proclaimed by grandson, Rob McCormack. The prayers of intercession were offered by Sister Lorraine Abbass, CND. The funeral mass was sung by Holy Redeemer funeral choir under the direction of Mary Morrison. The organist was Gary Cudmore. The choir sang the opening hymn, Here I Am Lord; the psalm, The Lord Is My Shepherd; the offertory hymn, Hail Mary, Gentle Woman; the communion hymn, Peace is Flowing Like a River; and the recessional hymn, Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee. Honorary pallbearers were everyone in attendance. Among those attending the funeral liturgy were representatives of Holy Redeemer CWL. The interment will take place later in the family plot at The Roman Catholic Cemetery.
