The fu­neral for Pa­tri­cia McCor­mack of Char­lot­te­town was held on Mon­day, Jan­uary 4, 2016 from Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home to the Church of the Most Holy Re­deemer where the fu­neral mass was cel­e­brated by Rev­erend Isaac Chack­ala­parampil, who also de­liv­ered the homily. The first read­ing was pro­claimed by grand­daugh­ter, De­nine Han­cock, and the sec­ond read­ing was pro­claimed by grand­son, Rob McCor­mack. The prayers of in­ter­ces­sion were of­fered by Sis­ter Lor­raine Ab­bass, CND. The fu­neral mass was sung by Holy Re­deemer fu­neral choir un­der the di­rec­tion of Mary Mor­ri­son. The or­gan­ist was Gary Cud­more. The choir sang the open­ing hymn, Here I Am Lord; the psalm, The Lord Is My Shep­herd; the of­fer­tory hymn, Hail Mary, Gen­tle Woman; the com­mu­nion hymn, Peace is Flow­ing Like a River; and the re­ces­sional hymn, Joy­ful, Joy­ful We Adore Thee. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were ev­ery­one in at­ten­dance. Among those at­tend­ing the fu­neral liturgy were rep­re­sen­ta­tives of Holy Re­deemer CWL. The in­ter­ment will take place later in the fam­ily plot at The Ro­man Catholic Ceme­tery.
