Raffle helps Children’s Wish Foundation
Lysette Art recently conducted a painting raffle, which raised $2,500 for the Children’s Wish Foundation Prince Edward Island Chapter. From left are students Dale Vigneault and Brenda Rayner, art director Lysette Sampson and students Mona Reck and Gloria Matheson. The Children’s Wish Foundation is currently working on granting 22 wishes for Island children and appreciates the support of these talented artists.

The event is at the Baha’i Centre, 20 Lapthorn Ave. It is wheelchair accessible and alcoholfree. Readers can sign up at 7 p.m. to read their own poetry or prose, from three to five minutes.
