Be­gin­ning Jan. 9, an in­tro to sports pro­gram will be of­fered at the West Roy­alty Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, giv­ing chil­dren ages three to four a chance to ex­pe­ri­ence a va­ri­ety of sports and de­velop skills while hav­ing fun. On Thurs­days, bas­ket­ball, bad­minton, soc­cer and other games will be of­fered at Sher­wood El­e­men­tary School for kids in Grades K-6. Youth from Grades K-6 and their par­ents are wel­come to join the fam­ily drop-in night for sim­i­lar ac­tiv­i­ties on Fri­days, 6-8 p.m. at the West Roy­alty Com­mu­nity Cen­tre. Start­ing Jan. 9, bad­minton will be held at the West Roy­alty Com­mu­nity Cen­tre for chil­dren in Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8.
