Vipers tangle with Cap­i­tals in ju­nior B tilt

The Kens­ing­ton Moase Plumb­ing and Heat­ing Vipers host the Fredericton Cap­i­tals to­day to start a week­end of in­ter­lock­ing ac­tion be­tween Is­land and New Brunswick ju­nior hockey league teams.

Game time is 4 p.m.

Kens­ing­ton leads the Is­land Ju­nior Hockey League at 14-4-1. The Vipers come in on a twogame win­ning streak and will try to keep pace ahead of the se­cond-place and surg­ing Arse­nault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings (11-5-1).

The Vipers ex­pect to have Ryan Mur­ray and Tyler Bur­ton back in the lineup.

The Wings host Fredericton in Abram-Vil­lage Sun­day at 2 p.m., then the A&S Scrap Metal Met­ros wel­come the Kent Koy­otes to Cody Banks Arena at 5:40.
