Mil­ton­vale Com­mu­nity Play­ers set to per­form new play this month

“Some Neigh­bours-Episode Three: A Priest from Away” will be pre­sented at Mil­ton Com­mu­nity Hall on Jan. 21-22, 7:30 p.m., and Jan 23, 2 p.m., by the Mil­ton­vale Com­mu­nity Play­ers

How does a priest from the big city set­tle in to P.E.I. life? In “A Priest from Away”, the newly formed Mil­ton­vale Com­mu­nity Play­ers present a day in the life of the new priest as he gets to know the neigh­bours and all their quirks.

More than 20 lo­cal ac­tors will take to the stage.

The $10 ad­mis­sion in­cludes a light lunch. Tick­ets can be pur­chased in ad­vance at the hall or by con­tact­ing 902-368-3090 or ad­min@mil­ton­va­lepark.com.

“Some Neigh­bours-Episode Three: A Priest from Away” is writ­ten and di­rected by Ken Wil­liams and David Hooper from the Mil­ton­vale Ebenezer Writ­ers Guild and funded through the Govern­ment of Canada’s New Hori­zons for Se­niors Pro­gram.

Some of the pro­ceeds will help bring en­ter­tain­ment to se­niors.

The hall is lo­cated at 7 New Glas­gow Rd. (Route 224) at the in­ter­sec­tion of the Rus­tico Road in North Mil­ton.
