Clubhouse place to rebuild lives

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

The Fitzroy Centre Clubhouse is a place to help rebuild your life, where people who have mental illness go to start feeling mentally healthy. It is a place where people come to re-build their lives. It is people go and work hard to make themselves better and be productive members of society.

People with mental illnesses are in school, or working at jobs, all with the aim of living independently. People that use the clubhouse sometimes are helped to find a home, get an education, and provide job training. Many people don't realize that PTSD and stress (even from the workplace) is under mental health.

When people believe there is hope, miracles happen. Others must get people with mental illnesses to trust again. Give the opportunity to move from a life with no future to a life with a future. Nancy Riley, Cornwall
