1 Un­law­ful en­try nets jail time

Twenty-six-year-old Ja­cob An­gus Floyd John­ston, who was shot in the leg dur­ing a re­cent al­ter­ca­tion in a home in Val­ley­field, was sen­tenced to five months in jail Mon­day for un­law­ful en­try.

3 More snow on the way

En­vi­ron­ment Canada has is­sued an ad­vi­sory for Wed­nes­day call­ing for sig­nif­i­cant snow­fall and high wind gusts. The snow will change over to rain in east­ern parts of the prov­ince Wed­nes­day af­ter­noon.
