Af­ter a coura­geous bat­tle with can­cer, Shirley Kath­leen (Noye) Doucette of North Rus­tico passed away on Mon­day, Jan­uary 11, 2016 at Prince County Hos­pi­tal, Sum­mer­side, with her lov­ing fam­ily by her side. She was pre­de­ceased by her mother, Bar­bara (Mil­li­gan) Noye and father, Les­lie Noye; brother, Jimmy; and mother-in-law, Doris Doucette. Shirley is sur­vived by lov­ing daugh­ter Jenna Gwen Doucette, and by hus­band Don­ald “Roxy” Doucette. She will be greatly missed by brothers and sis­ters: Mike Noye, Springhill; Margie (Jim) Jor­dan, Bethel; Randy Noye, Char­lot­te­town; Su­san (Marvin) Gra­ham, Long River; Kent (Karen) Noye, Eller­slie; and Mil­ford (San­dra) Al­lain, White­horse. Neph­ews and nieces: Ni­cholas ( Jen­nifer) Ste­wart, Jef­frey (Erin) Ste­wart, Mitchell (Ash­ley) Noye, Me­lanie (Neil) Arse­nault, Jor­dan (Stacy) Gra­ham, Jolynn Gra­ham, Mar­shall Noye, Sa­man­tha Noye, Les­lie Noye, Julie Noye, Em­mett Noye and Syl­vana Al­lain. She was a great aunt to Des­tiny, De­siree, Ella, Chelsea, Lily, Ge­or­gia, Robert, JJ and Chase. Rest­ing at the Dav­i­son Fu­neral Home in Kens­ing­ton for visi­ta­tion on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Fu­neral ser­vice on Fri­day in the Dav­i­son Fu­neral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with Rev­erend Pix Butt of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment in Mar­gate United Ceme­tery. In lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­rial do­na­tions may be made to the Jenna Doucette Education Fund.
