Man un­happy with mugshot, of­fers po­lice selfie

LIMA, Ohio — Po­lice in western Ohio say a man with an ar­rest war­rant told them he didn’t like the mugshots they were us­ing, so he sent them a selfie. Lima po­lice say the ges­ture fol­lowed a depart­ment Face­book post­ing about Don­ald “Chip” Pugh. Po­lice say the 45-year-old Pugh is wanted for fail­ing to ap­pear in court and is also a per­son of in­ter­est in sev­eral other cases, in­clud­ing ar­son and van­dal­ism. Po­lice say Pugh sent them a pic­ture of him­self in a sport coat and wear­ing sun­glasses along with a mes­sage stat­ing, “Here is a bet­ter photo that one is ter­ri­ble.”
