1 Homes de­mol­ished with­out ap­proval

A Char­lot­te­town de­vel­oper has de­mol­ished five homes on Har­ley Street with the in­ten­tion of putting up a new apart­ment build­ing. The prob­lem is that he did so with­out get­ting the green light to de­mol­ish those homes first.


2 Op­po­si­tion MLAs want test re­sults

Op­po­si­tion MLAs are call­ing on the prov­ince to re­lease wa­ter test re­sults for Rus­tico’s École Saint-Au­gustin. Last June, a test at the five-yearold school showed ura­nium, ar­senic and sodium at lev­els above what’s con­sid­ered safe for drink­ing.


3 Sports awards to be pre­sented

Sport P.E.I.’s 2015 am­a­teur sport awards will be pre­sented Wed­nes­day, Feb. 3, at the Rodd Char­lot­te­town Ho­tel. A new award will be pre­sented to an Is­land ath­lete con­sid­ered to be an in­spi­ra­tion to his or her peers in the Is­land sport­ing com­mu­nity.
