1 Homes demolished without approval
A Charlottetown developer has demolished five homes on Harley Street with the intention of putting up a new apartment building. The problem is that he did so without getting the green light to demolish those homes first.
2 Opposition MLAs want test results
Opposition MLAs are calling on the province to release water test results for Rustico’s École Saint-Augustin. Last June, a test at the five-yearold school showed uranium, arsenic and sodium at levels above what’s considered safe for drinking.
3 Sports awards to be presented
Sport P.E.I.’s 2015 amateur sport awards will be presented Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel. A new award will be presented to an Island athlete considered to be an inspiration to his or her peers in the Island sporting community.
