What: “Some Neigh­bours: Episode 3 - A Priest from Away.”

Who: The Mil­ton­vale Park Play­ers is a new group con­sist­ing of more than 20 lo­cal ac­tors from the area. Many have lit­tle or pre­vi­ous act­ing ex­pe­ri­ence.

Plot: How does a big city priest set­tle into the P.E.I. way of life? The play shows a day-inthe-life of the the new priest as he meets the many quirky neigh­bours while try­ing to find his way to the church.

When and where: Thurs­day, Jan. 21, Fri­day, Jan. 22, 7:30 p.m., and Satur­day, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. Mil­ton Com­mu­nity Hall, lo­cated at 7 New Glas­gow Road (Route 224) at the in­ter­sec­tion of Rus­tico Road in North Mil­ton

Be­hind the scenes: The play was funded with a New Hori­zons for Se­niors grant. It en­cour­ages keep­ing se­niors en­gaged within the com­mu­nity. “Some Neigh­bours” is the group’s first play and will help raise funds to con­tinue se­niors pro­gram­ming in the com­mu­nity.
