MONTAGUE — Kings District RCMP said a tip from the public has led to finding a car and driver involved in a hitand-run Monday. A vehicle was merging onto Main Street when it was struck by a vehicle travelling north, said a report issued by the RCMP Tuesday. The driver of the hit vehicle was not injured, but his vehicle was badly damaged, said the report. Following the tip, “the (run) vehicle, which was a black 1999 Honda Civic, was located at a residence in Montague,” said the report. “The vehicle has been seized, and a male, believed to have been the driver at the time of the collision, has been identified,” it said.
