The fu­neral for Shirley Kath­leen (Noye) Doucette of North Rus­tico was held Fri­day, Jan­uary 15, 2016 in the Dav­i­son Fu­neral Home Chapel, Kens­ing­ton where the ser­vice was con­ducted at 10:30 a.m. by Rev­erend Pix Butt. Re­mem­brances were shared by her daugh­ter, Jenna Doucette, niece, Jolynn Gra­ham, sis­ter, Su­san Gra­ham, and friend, Dar­lene MacIn­nis. Psalm 23 was read by Rev. Anne Dalziel Singer who also brought words of com­fort to the fam­ily. Pro­ces­sional hymn was The Lord’s My Shep­herd. Con­gre­ga­tional hymn was Here I Am Lord. Soloist, Ni­cholas Ste­wart, ren­dered the se­lec­tion, The Rose. Re­ces­sional hymn was Je­sus Loves the Lit­tle Chil­dren. Or­gan­ist was Bon­nie LaFrance. Dur­ing the ser­vice, the se­lec­tion The An­chor Holds was played. At­tend­ing the fu­neral were stu­dents and staff of Gulf Shore Con­sol­i­dated School, North Rus­tico. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were Cindy Banks, Judy Banks, Jan­ice Blac­quiere, Jane Copeland, Barry Doucette, Jamie Doucette, Carol Gal­lant, Neily Gal­lant, Judy Gal­lant, Darcy Gal­lant, Ch­ester Mil­li­gan, Lau­rie MacPhee, Ter­essa Pe­ters and Mary Jane Ready. Pall­bear­ers were Paul El­lis, Brad Gal­lant, Jor­dan Gra­ham, Al­bert Mil­li­gan, Mar­shall Noye and Jef­frey Ste­wart. Flower­bear­ers were Me­lanie Arse­nault, Michelle Calder, Shelby Gal­lant, Jolynn Gra­ham, Nora McFadden and Sa­man­tha Noye. In­ter­ment was in Mar­gate United Ceme­tery.
