The death oc­curred peace­fully, at the Prince County Hos­pi­tal, Sum­mer­side, on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 20, 2016, of Or­mond “Or­mie” Mor­ri­son, of Grand River and Toronto, On­tario, in his 86th year. Born in Grand River he was the son of the late Michael and Ella (MacDougall) Mor­ri­son. Sur­vived by sis­ters and brother, Lois Wood, Bos­ton, MA; Brad Mor­ri­son, Sum­mer­side; Peggy (Eric) Arse­nault, Strat­ford; sis­terin-law, Mary Mor­ri­son, Port­land, ME; and lov­ingly re­mem­bered by neph­ews and nieces, Wil­liam Wood Jr., Cal­i­for­nia; Linda ( Jack) O’Con­nor, Bos­ton, MA; Su­san (Ralph) Car­pen­ter, Janet Colucci and Kevin Mor­ri­son, Port­land, ME; Greg Arse­nault and Denise Arse­nault, Strat­ford; and Andy (Erin) Arse­nault, Fall River, NS. Pre­de­ceased by his wife, Jessie (MacDon­ald) Mor­ri­son; brothers, Leonard, Ur­ban, Rod­er­ick, Ver­non, Jerry and Joseph, in in­fancy; a sis­ter, Noreen; and a brother-in-law, Wil­liam Wood. Rest­ing at the Moase Fu­neral Home, Sum­mer­side, un­til Satur­day, then to St. Pa­trick’s Church, Grand River, for fu­neral mass at 10:30 a.m. In­ter­ment later in Im­mac­u­late Con­cep­tion Ceme­tery, Brae. Vis­it­ing hours Fri­day 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­rial do­na­tions to St. Pa­trick’s Ceme­tery Fund or Im­mac­u­late Con­cep­tion Ceme­tery, Brae would be ap­pre­ci­ated.
