The fu­neral for Don­ald Ed­ward Jenk­ins was held on Satur­day, Jan­uary 16, 2016 from Belvedere Fu­neral Home Chapel where the ser­vice was con­ducted by Rev. Kevin MacKen­zie. The or­gan­ist was Don­ald MacRae. Dur­ing the ser­vice, Don­ald MacRae, Scott MacRae, Mal­colm MacRae and Richard MacRae per­formed Don­ald, Where’s Your Trousers? and Be­cause He Lives. The con­gre­ga­tional hymns were Peace in the Val­ley, Amaz­ing Grace and One Step At a Time. Words of re­mem­brance were shared by Paul Jenk­ins. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were ev­ery­one present. Pall­bear­ers were Bobby Bryen­ton, Lester MacFadyen, Chris Beer, Wal­lace Jack­son, Reg Mosher and Blair Bryen­ton. Flower­bear­ers were grand­chil­dren Bran­don Llewellyn, Megan Llewellyn, Katie Llewellyn, Clark Dalziel and Blake Dalziel. In­ter­ment took place in Sher­wood Ceme­tery. Those at­tend­ing the fu­neral ser­vice in­cluded mem­bers of the Brack­ley Women’s In­sti­tute, Garage Gang and the Winsloe Play­ers.
