Stirring up a storm
Popular winter celebration, Nortons Razzle Dazzle Gala, returns to Delta Prince Edward Feb. 13
The planning committee is busy finalizing details for the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s upcoming 12th annual Nortons Razzle Dazzle Gala set for Saturday, Feb. 13.
“Sales of tickets are brisk,” says Suzanne MacDonald, events development and co-ordination officer, who strongly encourages people to get theirs now. That’s because the early bird pricing of $135 is in effect until Friday, Jan. 22.
“A table of eight is available for $995.”
Nortons Razzle Dazzle gala provides a perfect way to treat your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day while supporting a worthwhile cause, a news release states.
“The event gets underway with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. and allows guests an opportunity to select their favourites from a fantastic array of silent auction items. As always, the five-course meal that follows is sure to delight even the most discerning palate, and the excitement then builds as guests place their bids on spectacular live auction items.”
The gala’s premium live auction package will be sure to create a buzz and open friendly bidding wars among guests.
For example, there’s a 4-night stay and a dinner, courtesy of Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, BC, return airfare from Charlottetown to Vancouver, compliments of the Air Canada Foundation and a rental car from Vancouver to Whistler, courtesy of Budget.
Last but not least, guests will then take to the dance floor and boogie the night away to the tunes of the ever-popular band, Faces.
Since 2005, Nortons Razzle Dazzle Gala has raised more than $560,000.
These vital dollars have contributed greatly to the Foundation’s ability to create survivors on PEI.
