Shooting results in more charges
Brodie Joseph McQuaid and Matthew Lindsey Eric Clarke now facing charges
The RCMP’s major crime unit has laid charges against two men stemming from a shooting at a residence in Pleasant Grove early Christmas morning.
Brodie Joseph McQuaid, 23, of Mill Cove, has been charged with break and enter and committing an assault.
Matthew Lindsey Eric Clarke, 28, of Bedford, has also been charged with break and enter and committing an assault.
Both men will appear in provincial court in Charlottetown on Feb. 22.
They are not the only two men facing charges as a result of the shooting.
Matthew Brian Misener, 30, of Pleasant Grove, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of careless use of a firearm.
He appeared in court this week.
He will be back before the courts on Feb. 22, the same day as McQuaid and Clarke.
The Queens District RCMP received a 911 call at around 1 a.m. on Dec. 25.
When the police arrived they discovered a 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man had been shot.
The older male was treated and released from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown while the younger man was airlifted to Halifax.
