Playing for gold
Summerside native Billy Bridges and his Canadian teammates learned from their mistakes. Bridges scored twice and added three assists as Canada rolled past South Korea 10-0 on Thursday in the semifinal of the world sledge hockey challenge. The Canadians had been slow against South Korea in the preliminary round and made sure to attack early and often in the playoffs. Canada will play the United States on Saturday in the four-team tournament’s final. The Americans beat Russia 2-1 earlier Thursday.
