Ten environmentally con- scious schools across the country will each receive $25,000 worth of new technology from Staples Canada as part of The Superpower Your School Contest.

Publically funded schools are invited to enter the contest at StaerEco and share their eco initiatives for a chance to win. The Superpower Your School Contest runs until Jan. 29.

“Teachers and students across the country are passionate about making a difference on the environment,” said Steve Matyas, president of Staples Canada. “We’re honoured to reward them for their devotion to environmental stewardship.”

The contest is held in collaboration with Earth Day Canada, a national charity that works directly with thousands of teachers and schools to provide environmental resources and support.

“Earth Day Canada is excited to team up with Staples again this year to reach and reward schools implementing innovative and far reaching environmental engagement projects. Earth Day Canada supports The Superpower Your School Contest by sharing information about the contest to schools from coast to coast and assist with the judging process.” Deb Doncaster, President of Earth Day Canada.
