Police catch driver passing school bus
Incident happened on Wednesday
A young woman has been charged for passing a school bus that was dropping off children.
Charlottetown Police Services said in a statement issued Friday that the incident happened this past Wednesday just before 3 p.m. at the corner of April Lane and the Maypoint Road.
The school bus had all its red lights and stop sign engaged, said the report.
“The accused, a 25-year-old female resident of Charlottetown, will be appearing in provincial court at a later date,” said the police report.
