Sears moves in Sum­mer­side

En­man’s Au­dio Video Un­lim­ited now of­fers Sears cat­a­logue ser­vices.

En­man’s owner Bob Pi­card, said af­ter Sears closed its Wa­ter Street lo­ca­tion at the end of last year, he knew many peo­ple would be dis­ap­pointed and saw an op­por­tu­nity.

“We thought we would make it avail­able so they wouldn’t have to drive to Char­lot­te­town to pick up their pur­chases,” he said. The ser­vice be­gan at the start of Jan­uary.

“Cus­tomers can come in the store and pur­chase some­thing on­line or at home through the cat­a­logue.

“The items get shipped to our store and cus­tomers can come pick them up.”

Pi­card said he’s happy to of­fer this use­ful ser­vice in the city.

“We wanted to keep busi­ness lo­cal.”
