Ad­dress­ing the hag­gis

Dr. Jim Smith pre­pares to cut the hag­gis af­ter he per­formed the tra­di­tional “Ad­dress to a Hag­gis” that was writ­ten by Robert Burns to cel­e­brate his ap­pre­ci­a­tion of the dish. The Belfast Pipe and Drum Band hosted its Robert Burns din­ner and Ceilidh in Char­lot­te­town Sun­day night. This year is the 256th an­niver­sary of the Scot­tish poet’s birth.
