MCKAY, Shaun

Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Saturday, August 20, 2016 of Shaun McKay of Charlottetown, age 65 years. Beloved husband of Marel (nee MacDonald) McKay and dear father of Maze (Mike) Griffin, Nicolas (Julie Beaumont) McKay and Stephanie Marshello. He is also survived by three loving grandchildren Hope, Chloe and Jack; brothers and sisters, Danny (Maureen) McKay, Hughie (Pat) McKay, Neil (Cheryl) McKay, Patty (Dianne) McKay, D’Arcy McKay, Mary (Ron) Seifred, Margaret (Larry) Broden, Eileen (Lloyd) Diggens. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian (nee Cochrane) and Daniel McKay; sisters, Sheila Chabot, Maureen McKay and his brother, Timothy McKay.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours on Thursday 5 - 8 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre or the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre.
