A new, free out­door mul­ti­me­dia ex­pe­ri­ence will be un­veiled in down­town Char­lot­te­town this sum­mer. The show, “Sig­na­tures – A Canadian Spec­ta­cle Un­der the Stars,” is be­ing pre­sented by Dis­cover Char­lot­te­town, Con­fed­er­a­tion Cen­tre of the Arts and Graph­ics eMo­tion in cel­e­bra­tion of Canada 150. “Sig­na­tures” will play seven days a week, out­doors, at dusk un­til Oct. 1 on the sand­stone walls of Con­fed­er­a­tion Cen­tre of the Arts. Each night, the show closes with spec­ta­tors in­vited to join an all-Canadian sin­ga­long. The or­ga­niz­ers are invit­ing Cana­di­ans from across the coun­try to help choose the show’s clos­ing song and of­fer­ing those who vote a chance to win a get­away to Is­land’s cap­i­tal. Among the choices are Gene Ma­cLel­lan’s “Snow­bird” and Stompin’ Tom Con­nors’ “The Hockey Song.”
