Chevies clip Northside

MORELL— The Morell Chevies scored a pair of runs in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie and held on for a 4-2 win over the Northside Brewers on Sunday afternoon in Kings County Baseball League action.

Taylor Larkin picked up the complete-game victory, scattering seven hits and striking out three. Jayden Maclean took the loss, surrendering 12 hits over seven innings. Troy Coffin led the Morell attack with three hits, while Scott Ellsworth, Desi Doyle and Logan Gallant all collected two hits. Bryan Linton and Spencer Smith had two hits each to pace the Brewers.
