Cars crash into brewery parking lot
First responders tended to a collision between two vehicles that spilled into the Upstreet Craft Brewery parking lot in Charlottetown on Monday night.
The collision occurred around 8 p.m. and saw Island EMS, the Charlottetown Fire Department and police respond.
A witness to the collision told The Guardian one of the vehicles ran two stop signs on Upper Prince Street before crashing into the front of another vehicle on Allen Street.
The witness said both cars went over the curb, with one landing in front of the brewery’s patio where patrons were sitting.
One of the vehicles had smoke coming from the engine bay, which led to a response from firefighters.
Police said they had “nothing to report” on the collision.
