Montague liquor store moves

New location next to Superstore

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - THE ISLAND -

The P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission’s store in Montague has moved.

Its new location is next to the Superstore, which the commission said was more visible, had better access to parking and had a barrier-free accessible entrance.

The store’s new increased square footage means product selection can increase by about 20 per cent and the store can showcase new sampling stations.

Finance Minister Allen Roach said the new store was planned with improved customer experience, better access to a larger selection of products and energy efficiency in mind.

“This includes new modern displays, a large buy P.E.I. section designated to feature local producers of beer, wine and spirits and expanded refrigerated space which enables the store to offer a greater selection of chilled beverages.”
