Cottage prices in P.E.I. up
Recreational property prices in P.E.I. were up in May compared to the same time last year, according to a report from Royal LePage.
The report showed the aggregate price for recreational properties in P.E.I. in May was $225,500.
Hamish Redpath, co-owner of Royal LePage Prince Edward Realty, said P.E.I. offers value to prospective homeowners with people buying higher end properties, enjoying them for a few months and renting them out for the rest of the year.
“P.E.I. is Canada’s best kept secret for recreational properties,” he said.
