During the service, daughters Brenda Bullerwell and Margaret MacKenzie sang “Because He Lives”. “His Eye is on the Sparrow” was sung by granddaughter, Melissa MacKenzie. Ed Doiron sang “I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy”. The congregational hymns were “One Day”, “It Is Well”, and “Meeting in the Air”. All music was accompanied by daughter Margaret MacKenzie on the piano. The homily by Rev. Bullerwell, entitled: “Leaving a Legacy”, encouraged attendees to live for God in such a way as to leave a legacy that would be strong enough for their families in their time of need. Pallbearers were Dustin Bullerwell, grandson; Nicholas Pedersen, greatgrandson; Wendell MacKenzie, son-in-law; Chuck Pedersen, grandson-in-law; and nephews Tony Smith and Tyler Meade. Following the service, everyone was invited to join the family for a reception in the Calvary Church Fellowship Hall. Interment took place in Sherwood Cemetery, led by Rev. Dr. Scott Bullerwell, with Rev. David Filsinger leading in prayer.
