Fiddlers’ Sons, Keelin Wedge both launch new albums Thursday
The opening night of the Close to the Ground Concert Series in Pooles Corner will be a double CD launch party.
Fiddlers’ Sons and band member Keelin Wedge both have new albums to launch.
The band is celebrating 20 years together with the release of its new album, “Fiddlers’ Sons - The Best Of Twenty Years 1997-2017,” a collection of the band’s most popular requests from their seven recordings along with three new songs.
Band member Wedge, meanwhile, releases “The Traditional Files,” a fiddle and acoustic guitar album recorded in her home studio in Wellington.
The two new albums will be available where Fiddlers’ Sons and Wedge play across P.E.I. this summer.
The Close to the Ground Concert Series is a weekly roots music series is hosted by the band, featuring a different musical guest every Thursday night through Sept. 28 at Kaylee Hall.
