Mur­ray Har­bour ceilidh July 7

There is a ceilidh at the Mur­ray Har­bour Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Fri­day, July 7, 7:30 p.m.

The evening will be­gin with a per­for­mance by the Mur­ray Har­bour Six, a group con­sist­ing of Wayne MacLean, Mel Gid­dings, Kenny Chap­man, JoAnne Ford, Michael Buell, Amy Swen­son and Ni­co­las Matheson and others.

Len Buell and Edna MacMaster will add some Celtic flavour and hu­mour.

Jo-Anne Ford will sing and play a se­lec­tion of mu­si­cal in­stru­ments along with Michael Buell, gui­tar.

Per­for­mances will also be given by Ge­orge John­ston, The MacDon­ald Sis­ters, Doris and Marie, Louis MacKay, Irv­ing Hayter, Dorothy Hayter, Jeanie Ni­chol­son and Michael O’Con­nor.

Louis MacKay will play coun­try songs and gospel tunes.

Ad­mis­sion is $5 and in­cludes a lunch.
