Road repairs continue along Trans-Canada Highway
Construction of the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) extension will continue during the coming week, with the exception of Sunday.
Work is progressing along the North River Causeway and at the intersection of the York Point and Warren Grove roads.
The upcoming week’s work will include paving, construction of the active transportation trail, installation of electrical infrastructure for future highway lighting, concrete curbing and formwork as well as deck work on the North River Bridge.
Two lanes of traffic will be maintained during the morning and evening commutes (eastbound from 7:30 to 9 a.m., and westbound from 4 to 5:30 p.m.).
Drivers should consider using alternate routes and times to avoid delays, especially during morning and evening commuting hours.
