Guitare jailed for evad­ing po­lice, fail­ure to ap­pear

SUM­MER­SIDE – Kevin Joseph Guitare, 43, of Ebb­s­fleet has pleaded guilty to fail­ing to ap­pear in court as re­quired and evad­ing po­lice. The in­ci­dents took place Aug. 20, 2015, in Al­ber­ton and Jan. 28, 2016, in Sum­mer­side. Guitare was sen­tenced to serve 15 days in jail, which he re­ceived per­mis­sion to do in­ter­mit­tently. He also re­ceived credit for four days served.

He must re­main on pro­ba­tion un­til his time is served and pay a $200 vic­tim sur­charge.
