Making mountain out of molehill?

The mayor of Souris made some ill-advised comments and both the mayor and council dealt with them in the most appropriate way possible. End of story.

The fact that The Guardian sees fit to encourage all and sundry to wade into the debate when no debate even exists, is troubling.

The Guardian needs to keep the news in newspapers and leave the gossip-mongering to the scandal sheets.

Encouraging the opinion of others, in this case, is unwarranted. And you, Mr. Guardian, should be ashamed for doing so.
