A battle won against bigotry

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

About the Confederate battle flag in the yard with the play fort and the cartoon cannons. I loved the cannons at first, thought all they needed was a cutout of Yosemite Sam.

But when the flag went up, it ruined the tableau. I realized that an ‘adult’ lived there.

I was delighted when the flag was captured - a battle won against ignorance. And bigotry. Now the flag is back – or was back. Donald Trump’s 5th column, right here on P.E.I.
