Sanchez gets pounded in return
Toronto Blue Jays catcher Miguel Montero, right, goes out to talk to starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez after he gave up a two-run home run in the first inning of their American League game against the Houston Astros in Toronto on Friday. It wasn’t a successful return to the rotation for Sanchez. He lasted 1 and 2/3 innings, giving up eight runs (five earned) on seven hits, walked four batters, surrendered two home runs and failed to strike a batter out. The Astros ended up winning the game in a rout, 12-2.
