P.E.I. ferry service back to normal
The ferry service to and from P.E.I. is now back in full operation.
Northumberland Ferries Limited announced Tuesday morning that repairs to the control motor on MV Confederation were successfully completed.
The ferry had been out of commission since Sunday, resulting in just one vessel making the runs and cutting the number of crossings per day in half.
The daily crossing schedule, with two ships back in service, is as follows:
From Wood Islands at: 6:30 a.m., 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Leaving Caribou, N.S. at: 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Customers are advised to call the ferry’s toll-free number at 1-800-565-0201 or visit ferries. ca for any updates and to make reservations.
