P.E.I. ferry ser­vice back to nor­mal

The ferry ser­vice to and from P.E.I. is now back in full op­er­a­tion.

Northum­ber­land Fer­ries Lim­ited an­nounced Tues­day morn­ing that re­pairs to the con­trol mo­tor on MV Con­fed­er­a­tion were suc­cess­fully com­pleted.

The ferry had been out of com­mis­sion since Sun­day, re­sult­ing in just one ves­sel mak­ing the runs and cut­ting the num­ber of cross­ings per day in half.

The daily cross­ing sched­ule, with two ships back in ser­vice, is as fol­lows:

From Wood Is­lands at: 6:30 a.m., 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Leav­ing Cari­bou, N.S. at: 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
