Ready to clean properties up

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - THE ISLAND -

Charlottetown’s public works manager has been given the green light to clean up a few unsightly properties.

The resolution, as passed by council, authorizes the city to cut grass, trim and remove any fallen trees and subsequent undergrowth that would lead to the existence of animal life. It also allows for the removal of any other materials, debris, all at the owner’s expense.

Properties were identified as being 142 Prince St., 13 Chelsey Circle, 70 Maypoint Rd. and 112 Meadowvale Dr.

It should be noted that, according to council, the property owner at 142 Prince St. has hired an architect and plans to clean up the property.
